Description
English: Aerial view of Arwenack (post-1863), later Falmouth, in Cornwall. At left on top of the hill is Pendennis Castle. At right by the shore is Arwenack House. In centre is Falmouth Docks. The prominent building in the dip (upper centre right) is the Falmouth Hotel, the first substantial building on the "neck" of Pendennis. It was built 1863-1865.
