Deutsch: Südostansicht der röm.-kath. Pfarrkirche hl. Margareta und ehemaligen Kollegiatstiftskirche in der niederösterreichischen Marktgemeinde Ardagger und ganz rechts ein Teil der ehemaligen Anna- bzw. Friedhofskapelle.
Die Kirche wurde im 13. Jahrhundert errichtet, im 14. Jahrhundert umgebaut, im Jahr 1529 von den Türken geplündert und in Brand gesetzt. Sie lag dann fast 40 Jahre lang in Trümmern und wurde ab 1567 durch Probst Grübler wieder aufgebaut. 1620/27 fand eine erste Barockisierung statt und eine zweite 1678. Im Jahr 1784 erfolgte die Aufhebung des Stiftes und 1804/06 wurde der Kirchturm errichtet. |
