Description
English: Transition of hybrid forms between the larger, erect, white Coville's columbine (Aquilegia pubescens) and the smaller, drooping, red-&-yellow crimson columbine (Aquilegia formosa), shown with 4 flower closeups. The first 3 are from the shore of Long Lake in Little Lakes Valley, and the last is from the Kaweah basin between Hamilton and Precipice Lakes.
