Address to the New York state electorate; part of a pamphlet titled "The Remedy for Dueling", inclding a reprinted 1806 sermon by Lyman Beecher, together with initial resolutions of the Anti-Dueling Society of New York and (in this image) a page from the an address to the New York electorate. Store Web page states: "1809 Sermon by Lyman Beecher presenting a Solution to the Problem of Dueling as well as a Report from the first meeting of the "Anti-Duelling Association of New York".
