Description
English: German announcement in occupied Poland (dated 2nd February 1944), signed by Commandant of SD and Sicherheitspolizei in Warsaw – SS-Obersturmbannführer Ludwig Hahn, informing about the execution of 100 of Polish hostages as a reprisal for death of 2 Germans in Warsaw. In fact those hostages were executed in retaliation of death of SS and Police Leader in Warsaw, SS-Brigadeführer Franz Kutschera, who was killed by soldiers of Armia Krajowa on 1st February 1944.
Polski: Niemieckie obwieszczenie z 2 lutego 1944, podpisane przez komendanta SD i policji bezpieczeństwa w Warszawie, SS-Obersturmbannführera Ludwiga Hahna, informujące o egzekucji 100 polskich zakładników w odwecie za „śmierć dwóch Niemców”. W rzeczywistości zakładników stracono w odwecie za likwidację przez żołnierzy Armii Krajowej SS-Brigadeführera Franza Kutschery, Dowódcy SS i Policji na dystrykt warszawski.
