English: Andrews Bridge, Birchville, Upper Hutt, New Zealand as it stood on 31 October 2015, 2 days after the central pier failed. This bridge crosses the Akatarawa River just upstream of its confluence with the Hutt River and provides access from Akatarawa Road to Bridge Road. In the foreground the Hutt River flows from right to left. Taken from the path leading from the Tea Shelter in the picnic area on Akatarawa Road to the river bed. |
