Description
English: Experemental electric locomotive Ampère, built in USA in 1883 by electric railways pioneer Leo Daft. This loc was feeded through third rail. It was 25 hource powers strong and could pull 10 ton with the maximum speed of 9 mile per hour. Its own weight was 2 ton
Nederlands: Experementele electrische locomotief Ampère werd in 1883 in VS door Leo Daft, pioneer van de electrische spoorwegen, gebouwd. Deze locomotief werd gervoed via de derde rail. Zij had vermogen van 25 pk en kon 10 ton zware trein met max 9 mijn per uur trekken. Eigengewicht van deze locomotief bedroeg 2 ton
