Summary

Description
English: Ambigram by Georges Perec (Oulipo member) : "andin basnoda a une epouse qui pue" (Andin Basnoda has a smelly wife in French). 180° rotational symmetry. Created with the Arial typeface, very slightly modified. Perec called his creation "vertical palindrome". The French typographer Pierre di Sciullo created a typeface named "Basnoda" in homage to this ambigram.

Français : Ambigramme de l'écrivain Georges Perec (membre de l'Oulipo) : "andin basnoda a une epouse qui pue". Symétrie par rotation de 180°. Créé avec la police typographique Arial, très légèrement modifiée. Perec avait nommé sa création "palindrome vertical". Le graphiste et typographe français Pierre di Sciullo a créé une police d'écriture nommée "Basnoda" en hommage à cet ambigramme.
