Čeština: Alois Václav Čikl (* 1. ledna 1900 Slavětín – 5. září 1942 Praha-Kobylisy) byl český pravoslavný duchovní. Od počátku druhé světové války se spolu s kaplanem Vladimírem Petřekem zapojili do protinacistického odboje. Po atentátu (27. května 1942) na zastupujícího říšského protektora Reinharda Heydricha (Operace Anthropoid) zajišťoval Václav Čikl spolu s dr. Vladimírem Petřekem spojení a denní péči o atentátníky, kteří se ukrývali v pravoslavném katedrálním chrámu sv. Cyrila a Metoděje v Resslově ulici v Praze. Po odhalení úkrytu byli vzápětí zatčeni všichni, kdož se podíleli na jejich skrývání – biskup Gorazd (zatčen 25. června 1942), farář Václav Čikl, kaplan Vladimír Petřek (zatčen 18. června 1942). Václav Čikl byl vězněn v Pankrácké věznici v Praze a spolu se svými kolegy odsouzen mimořádným stanným soudem k smrti. Popraven byl na Kobyliské střelnici dne 5. září 1942. Jeho manželka Marie byla zavražděna 24. října 1942 v koncentračním táboře Mauthausen. |
