DescriptionAlberta 1967 license plate - Number HL-55-87.jpg
In 1967 Alberta went back to reflectorized plates. these plates were all beaded reflectorization. These plates would get dirty very easy and this was the only year Alberta issued an all reflective beaded plate. Beaded reflectorization would continue used on the lettering only through 1974.
For Canada's Centennial the stylized maple leaf appeared on the plate between the dates. "1867*1967" was the first slogan on Alberta plates since 1942. This slogan for obvious reasons was only used this year and another slogan would not appear on Alberta plates until 1973.
