Summary

Description
English: The Burj Al Mobarakee in Tyre/Sour, South Lebanon. Built in the mid-18th century during the rule of Governor Abbas Al Mohammad Al Nassar Al Saghir, probably on the ruins of earlier fortifications from the Crusader and Arab periods. The only historical military tower in Tyre still existing. In the background is the Dar Alma Hotel and Restaurant (left) and the Fanar lighthouse (right)
