Summary

Description
Español: EC-BXR (cn 45422/34) Air Spain sticks in my memory for two good reasons, one that they flew Britannias, the other that they had this striking colour scheme. This early DC-8 began life in 1.60 with Eastern as N8601 and was one of six acquired from them by Air Spain from 1.71. After merger talks with Aviaco broke down, the airline ceased operations in 1.75 and this aircraft was scrapped by AJI at Van Nuys in 1977 as N48CA
