Notes: The bowl has a feature with the glazed white mud technique in imitation Ogata Kenzan's style. Under the foot there is a gourd-shaped stamp with the name "Fukai". At the top side of the box cover, there is a writing in India ink "Gonouchi" and at the inner side of the box cover the writing "Ofukei-yaki/ Kanzan saku / Uutsushi / chawan / Gengen" (handwritten monogram: Urasenke 11th generation Iemoto Gengensai [玄々斎])

本作品は京の尾形乾山が得意とした釉下白泥技法をたくみに模倣した、御深井焼には珍しい作風の茶碗です。高台脇に「深井」瓢印を捺しています。箱蓋表には「五之内」、蓋裏に「御ふけ井やき/乾山作字宇津し/茶盌/玄々(花押:註:裏千家十一代家元玄々斎)」の墨書があります。
