Summary

Description
English: Coordinating the JCB, an Army Sapper waves the driver in with a bucket load full of sand, filling and building the blocks of the camp perimeter wall.

A small team of twenty Army engineers from 26 Engineer Regiment were tasked with improving living conditions for soldiers working in a desert forward operating base in Garmsir, Helmand Province, southern Afghanistan.

The strategically located forward operating base (FOB) Dwyer, provided vital combat and logistical support to troops operating in southern Helmand Province to drive out the Taliban as part of Task Force Helmand.
