Description
English: Parts of the Aegina treasure. From top:
  • Necklace made from eleven beads of identical shape but different materials. The shape is interpreted as a hand, cupping a woman's breast. Three beads are of cornelian, three lapis lazuli, five gold. The arrangement here is arbitrary, as the beads were found separated. British Museum Catalogue #756 A
  • Necklace made of 26 golden beads with circular depressions, 25 golden pendants on short chains and six very small golden beads. The arrangement here is arbitrary, as the beads were found separated. British Museum Catalogue #753 A
  • Necklace made of 166 cornelian beads of spherical shape, 1 oval cornelian bead, 15 barrel shaped cornelian beads, 3 cylidrical cornelian beads with engraved encircling lines, three beads of amethyst with triple spacing and the shape of an almond. British Museum Catalogue #760 A
