Fair Use Rationale[edit]

  • The work is low resolution, and unsuitable for printing.
  • The article concerned seeks to discuss Hausmann's seminal place in the development of modern Art, and an image is necessary to illustrate his radical approaches to the genre
  • Most of his work was destroyed by the Nazis; this is one of the very few to have survived, and has become a famous, much discussed work of the early 20th. century.
  • Despite this, Hausmann remains a shadowy presence in books on dada. In attempt to redress this, I wanted to place the work centrally within his biography on wikipedia.
  • The work is used solely for educative purposes
