Summary

Description
English: Taken after D-day in mid-1944. The black and white invasion stripes on the Seafire MkIII aircraft are still visible. Commander 'Tiny' Devonald DFC is sitting front centre. 13 pilots of the original 14 in 885 Squadron are in the photo following the loss of Lt. Anthony Bassett on 6 June 1944.
