Deutsch: Das Bild zeigt das Abschreiten einer Ehrenformation durch Prinz Ludwig von Bayern, dem späteren Ludwig III. von Bayern, während eines Festakts anlässlich der Enthüllung des Prinz-Ludwig-Denkmals am 3. Oktober 1909 in Helmstadt, Bayern. Während des Deutschen Krieges von 1866 fand am 25. Juli 1866 in der Nähe des Ortes eine Schlacht zwischen preußischen und mit Österreich verbündeten bayrischen Truppen statt, bei der Prinz Ludwig von Bayern eine Schussverletzung erlitt. Die Zeremonie fand unter Anwesenheit von Veteranen des Krieges von 1866 statt. |
