Српски / srpski: 2. равногорски корпус под командом капетана Предрага Раковића и Расински корпус под командома мајора Драгутина Кесеровића, усиљеним маршем преко Пештера журе у помоћ Врховној команди ЈВУО, коју су партизани потиснули након битке на Неретви ка планинини Јадовник, почетком маја 1943. Борци ових корпуса били су присилно мобилисани у Србији.
10. маја, када је требало да нападну партизане, преко стотину регрута из Раковићевог корпуса је отказало послушност, узвикујући: "Нећемо братоубилачку борбу!" [1] Након тога су кренули кућама. 13. маја Дража Михаиловић је наредио да им се на путу кући постави заседа: "Ако на позив мирним путем не предадну оружје, пуцати у месо." [2]
