Summary

Description
English: 1983 Jeep Cherokee (SJ) two-door SUV (officially described as "wagon" on the manufacturer's original Monroney "window" sticker because the term "Sport Utility Vehicle" was not in use in 1983). This Jeep has AMC's 360 cu in (5.9 L) 2-barrel V8 engine, the automatic transmission and a steering column mounted shifter, as well as the standard "part-time" four-wheel-drive system. Finished in "Deep Night Blue" it has an accessory front brush guard. The interior is in black with the optional center cushion and armrest between the standard bucket seats. The original AM radio in this Jeep has been upgraded to AMC's AM/AF/cassette tape deck. Picture taken during the car show at the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention that was held July 2015 near Cleveland, Ohio.
