| Description |
The XT Falcon was built from March 1968-June 1969. The XT was a facelift on the XR with revised plain flat grille, the tail lights remained circular, but the indicators were now horizontal rectangles, instead of the XR’s circles. The main change was under the bonnet, all engine sizes were increased, they were more reliable and more economical A team of three XT Falcon GTs won the Teams prize in the 1968 London-Sydney Marathon, finishing 3rd, 6th and 8th outright Engines; 188 or 221 6s and 302 V8 Sedan; Standard, 500, Fairmont and GT Wagon; Standard, 500 and Fairmont also Utility and Panel Van |
