Description1965 Rambler Ambassador 990 sedan in white with black interior at Rambler Ranch 2of2.jpg
English: 1965 Rambler Ambassador 990 four-door sedan finished in white with black interior. Built by American Motors Corporation (AMC), the 1965 model year Ambassadors were a new design and built on a longer 116-inch (2,946 mm) wheelbase. Enough to classify them as "full-sized" market segment based on the definitions at that time. The Ambassadors featured a longer hood and front end design with stacked headlamps. This was the last year the historic Rambler name was used on the Ambassador line. Starting with the 1966 model year, these top-line cars were named: AMC Ambassadors.
Photographed at the Rambler Ranch collection (located at 36370 Forest Trail, Elizabeth, CO 80107) that was part of the 2021 American Motors Owners (AMO) convention held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.
