English: A 1962 Maserati Tipo 151 (chassis 151.006, the third and last built) at the 2018 Greenwich Concours d'Elegance. Raced at Le Mans and then in various American races, without much luck. A Chuck Jones tried to sell it in mid-1963, but when no one was interested he converted it for road use, including the change to a clamshell bonnet to ease maintenance. The car's bonnet was recently restored to its original configuration by its owner Lawrence Auriana. |
