Указом Президента Российской Федерации (закрытым) от 5 июля 2022 года за мужество и героизм, проявленные при исполнении воинского долга, гвардии рядовому А.И. Старчкову присвоено звание Героя Российской Федерации (посмертно).

На почтовой марке изображены портрет Героя Российской Федерации А.И. Старчкова, сцена боевых действий и медаль «Золотая Звезда».
