עברית: מתנדבים מנקים גושי זפת בגדלים שונים שנסחפו לחוף יוברט האמפרי בחיפה. החוף נמצא לאורך טיילת שעוברת לאורך החוף בין טיילת בת גלים לטיילת חוף שקמונה
במקום מתקיימים מבצעי ניקיון על ידי מתנדבים. המבצעים מאורגנים על ידי עיריית חיפה באמצעות סיירת החופים גושי הזפת נפלטו באסון הזיהום הימי בזפת שארע לאורך חופי ישראל, והחל בישראל ב-17 בפברואר 2021 בו נגרם אסון סביבתי לחופים לים ולטבע לאורך כל חופי ישראל בים התיכון. במהלך האירוע נפלטו לחופי ישראל פסולת ימית של זפת שמקורה כנראה במזוט או נפט, והוא מוערך כאחד האסונות האקולוגיים הגדולים שפגעו בישראל מאז הקמתה, בין היתר, בשל השטח הגדול שהוא מכסה ובשל הרעילות הגבוהה וארוכת הטווח של הזפת. |
