Summary

Description Dignitaries and special honorees gather for a photograph with the Portland Royal Rosarians during the closing of ‘Rosie the Riveter Day,’ ceremony at the Portland International Rose Test Garden, Portland, Ore. The Portland event was one of eight held in Oregon, as 21 other states also paid honor the legacy of women who made history on our Home Front during WWII with their ‘Can-do’ spirit, unity and service.
