Devanga Jagadguru Maharaj Sri Sri Sri Dayanandapuri Mahaswamiji is a leader of the community[1] and abbot of Gayathri Peedam (monastery) Hemakooda - Hampi, Karnataka, India.[2][3][4][5]
Dewangga is a common name in Indonesia, Malaysia and Jakarta. King Dewanga ruled Selangor,Malaysia shows the influence of dewanga in Asia. [1]
Devanga people are also called Jadaru or Jada ( great man ) , Dendra , Devare , Deva , Semiyan and Sedam. [2]
