Request protection of a page, or increasing the protection level

2024 pro-Palestinian protests on university campuses in Germany[edit]

Reason: WP:CT/A-I so recommend WP:ECR per parent article protection. CommunityNotesContributor (talk) 12:38, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DeclinedPages are not protected preemptively. That's not a thing we do by default (parent article). Also, the one user whom you are in dispute with on that page is already extended confirmed, so protection at that level would have no effect (on either one of you). Fair enough, I thought for CT/A-I it could be preventative. I'm otherwise not in dispute with any user on that page. Per talk page, I'm very much in agreement, as long as correct procedures are followed that is. CommunityNotesContributor (talk) 12:55, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

List of federal agencies of Pakistan[edit]

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Persistent vandalism with no edit summary. Wikibear47 (talk) 15:24, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Boeing 737 MAX[edit]

Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Persistent vandalism, protected temporarily multiple times in the past. ImTheAvidPheasant (talk) 15:28, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Stifle (talk) 15:37, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Next United Kingdom general election[edit]

Reason: IP editors adding uncited and speculative information. 24 hours should be enough. Stifle (talk) 15:35, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Already protected by administrator Amakuru. Stifle (talk) 15:39, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Requesting immediate archiving... The article is indeed protected and currently located at 2024 United Kingdom general election. The round-robin move confused the bot. Favonian (talk) 17:01, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Miss Universe Philippines 2024[edit]

Reason: Please protect this page, as this is an ongoing event. doclys (❀) 16:05, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also, there is a high level of IP vandalism. doclys (❀) 16:10, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Germany[edit]

Reason: Turn Germany to a higher protection level to extended because people are keep on vandalizing it. 208.98.222.46 (talk) 16:52, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Kantipur Publications[edit]

Temporary semi-protection: Vandalism and BLP violations. Usedtobecool ☎️ 17:09, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected for a period of 1 week, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Favonian (talk) 17:17, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Feminism[edit]

Reason: Persistent disruptive editing from auto-confirmed accounts. If you look at the revision history, you will see that there has been a lot of disruption related to hyperlinking terms. Temporary Extended-Confirmed protection to deal with this issue, every time I visit the article, I keep seeing hyperlinks added and removed. 70.50.199.125 (talk) 17:28, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Wikipedia doesn't mandate that articles remain static. There's a little recent back-and-forth regarding how to link and pipe concepts, but nothing disruptive. OhNoitsJamie Talk 17:32, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
