Current FP — A halo around the sun (South Pole).
Replacement — removed dark spots

The current FP contains a few dark spots, most probably dirt, which have been removed in the proposed replacement.

  • Replace. Indeed the atmosphere above the South Pole is the cleanest on Earth, so the dark spots are highly likely to be artifacts of some kind (analog or digital). Papa Lima Whiskey (talk) 13:24, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
