Hi, your recently created article Blitzkrieg (chess strategy) has been listed for deletion. I wonder if you could help us by clarifying what this is. None of us has heard of it. Please enter your comments on the Votes for Deletion page:

Thanks. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 19:22, 24 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, I dealt with this over on the talk page, like, forever ago (almost a year!). Just making records. Xiong Chiamiov 07:20, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

=Turkic Muslims and the United States[edit]

This article tries to deliniate the differences between how the United States has related to Turkic Muslims versus Arab Muslims.Turkic people are an ethnic group and the common ancestor of the Turkic people are the Mongolians. The Turkic people occupy lands ranging from Turkmenistan to Turkey.Turkic is not the same as Turkish .Turkish people belong to the Turkic ethnic group but not all Turkic people are Turkish. In this article I tried to explain that the relationship between Islam , the West and the United States is not black and white but is riddled with complexities.Arab Muslims have been treated very differently by the United States than the Turkic Muslims. This article is critical for a better understanding of the complex relationship of the United States to Muslims because an important area that has not received enough attention is highlighted.StephanieThomas

template messages[edit]

When using template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. Thanks! - CobaltBlueTony 16:49, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow![edit]

I have absolutely no idea what it means, but I'll display it proudly. Thanks! :D DakPowers (Talk) 04:54, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's driving me crazy! I've hung it up on my e-wall, but I don't know German (which is what I think it is)! What does it say? :D DakPowers (Talk) 19:15, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Nevermind, I looked it up and remembered I had learned about Tetzel in school. Thanks again for your unique award. :) DakPowers (Talk) 20:24, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I'll second that. Pretty cool idea. --Alphachimp talk 00:00, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

warnings[edit]

Thanks, I will use the test templates to warn users from now on Dav2008 03:10, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Testing?[edit]

I wasn't testing anything. 03:48, 18 June 2006 (UTC)~

ahh, no problem, thanks

Thank you, but...[edit]

I appreciate the welcome message, but I am actually another experienced wikipedia user. However, my computer crashed and I could not remember my password because it took me a few months to get a new one. So I created a new account. -user:Armando341.

barnstar[edit]

the barnstar is meant to be a joke. Regarding the English part, from my edit history, it is apparent that other users have no trouble understanding what I am trying to say, so I am not sure where you're getting at. Just a tip. Peace--Bonafide.hustla 21:22, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please change your sig[edit]

I can't understand half of what's going on in your signature, but I had to repeatedly edit Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Geo-Faust to find a way to stop it from merging with the next AFD in the daily list page. I think the problem is with the "float". It refuses to recognize a new line has started when something is put beneath it. It also randomizes whether the date/time shows before or after your name. Don't get quite so complicated. Fan-1967 01:47, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD VS Speedy deletion[edit]

Just a reminder to let page creators know that their articles have been "nominated for deletion" if you've listed them on AfD, rather than "nominated for speedy deletion". The two processes are different. BigHaz 03:18, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature[edit]

Your signature looks good, but it is half a kilobyte long and takes up 3 5 lines in my editing window. It was almost impossible to distinguish your nomination from your signature in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Turkic Muslims and the West. Please consider shortening it; not using CSS at all could be a good start. Kimchi.sg 05:17, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As a note to readers: Darn my love of CSS. If you happen to want to see my pretty sig that screwed with Wiki-formatting, it's in my sandbox[1]. You'll know it when you see it. Xiong Chiamiov :: contact :: 15:18, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Much better. Thank you for your consideration. Fan-1967 19:55, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your Case And What I Did To Her When I Found Her[edit]

Greetings from the Mediation Cabal! I'll be your mediator for this lovely dispute.

Ok, so after a quick glance at your case page, let me make some quick points. The Mediation Cabal really isn't an authority, it's just a group of normal editors who like this sort of stuff. I can't lay down a Hammer of Justice and make some all-important-life-changing decision. In fact, having an authority to tell you what to do is actually frowned upon.

Instead of being an authority, I'll be your mediator. Sound like fun? :D

Okay, enough silliness... down to bussiness now...

You weren't very descriptive in your case page; can you show me where this POV is at? I'm afraid I need some more information. Thanks! --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 01:50, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
