Yep it's me. Don't worry, not some evil h4x0r who cracked an abandoned account. CUs, you have my permission to CheckUser me freely. Not hidin' anything here.

Welcome to my little WikiSpace! I'm Slowking Man, just some guy out in sunny California. My interests include video games, reading, writing, the Internet, and computer programming. And, working on this project!

Wikipedia's concept of an open compendium of human knowledge moved me, and I decided to do my part to help it grow. I registered on April 1, 2004, and have been ruthlessly editing, disambiguating, Wikifying, and writing ever since! Wiiiiith just a few short WikiBreaks now and then. :)

Yeah I've been around the block a few times here. Once upon a time I used to be an admin. Back when six months and 1000 edits was sufficient for RfA. Back when it was named Votes for Deletion! Back when to insert templates you still had to use {{msg:templatename}} and ParserFunctions were brand-new!

Hey guess who has the first edit to Bleach (manga)? *two thumbs* This guy! Splitting it out from Bleach where everything was piled in together—yeah that's how much of a Wild West it still was then. And the second edit to the main page's editnotice!

Man this place used to be a lot different. You whippersnappers these days with your Twinkle and your gadgets! I remember Twinkle and popups first being created as user scripts!

Hmph, why back in my day we had to do practically everything manually! Uphill both ways, in the snow! Hope you're fast on the keyboard! Pre-written reasons for admin actions, lol what do you mean? Adminbots? Lua? Special:Nuke?

Haha, I remember going through vandalspammers' contribs hitting rollback on each one! When you couldn't protect a page name from being recreated! And anons could create pages! When there was only full protection! And then cascading protection got introduced to protect the Main Page from vandals hitting stuff transcluded onto it, and people figured out quickly it could be a crude hack to protect a page against re-creation! And when ArbCom was first created!

Told ya I've seen some stuff. If any of you young whippersnappers want this "old man" to regale you with some more tales of yore ask away.

Additionally, I'm a member of the sekrit cabal.

My favorite Wikipedia article is Firewood Door.

I am the proud recipient of a Wikicookie. According to my Talk page, I'm also a Wikipedia Angel, whatever that means.

If you've taken the time to read this, you obviously have nothing better to do. Why not fix up an article?
