Amarachi Orjinma is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a striker for Delta Queens F.C.. She previously played for Rivers Angels F.C. and Pelican Stars F.C., where she was the top scorer in the 2014 Nigeria Women Premier League.[1]

Career[edit]

Orjinma played for Pelican Stars in the 2014 Nigeria Women Premier League and was the league's top scorer with 17 goals.[2] The same year, she was listed as one of the best talents in Nigerian women football by SL10.ng.[3]

Orjinma was signed with Rivers Angels ahead of the 2015 Nigeria Women Premier League.[4] In May 2016, Orjinma was nominated as player of the month for the ongoing 2016 Nigeria Women Premier League, having scored 2 goals in May.[5]

At national level, Orjinma represents Nigeria at the junior level. At the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup qualifiers, Orjinma scored two goals for Nigeria against Liberia in the second round of qualifiers.[6] In the return leg, she was also on target to seal qualification to the next round for the Falconets.[7]

In 2020, she was on target for Delta Queens F.C. in a league game against Sunshine Queens F.C..[8]
