The Stink Bug is an annoying dark grey bug that tends to hover around making loud noises. This bug is know to fly into you at full speed without any warning. They are commonly found in the region of Western PA, primarily on football fields. On average there are approximately 121 stink bugs killed per day on each field and 13,158 killed in the region. They are believed to have been "invented" in a harvard lab on accident when a Japanese professor leaked some liquid paper on a ladybug. Unfortunately, when the mysterious liquid was sucked in by the ladybug it did not die, it mutated into what we now know as "The Stink Bug."

Description: The stink bug is a small round shaped grey flying beatle. They are approximately 1 centimeter long and 1 centimeter wide. This helps them too fly into you without you noticing. Each bug weighs about .26 grams.

Flying abbilities: The light weight and small frame of the bug lets it fly into you unseen. however, if you hear a loud buzzing sound, duck for cover because one is near by. the bugs use "kamikaze" techniques not because they try too but because they do not have the brain capability to understand where they are going. this might be due to the Stink Bugs' 1.6 second attention span. The longest recorded flight was recorded in a math class at a Western PA "high school" when one of the bugs came off the ground for 2 and a 1/2 minutes. other than flying, the bugs can walk on walls which makes them quite hard to reach.

Killing Tactics: Stink Bugs are tricky to kill. so you have to do it right. stink bugs die in water that is under 50 degrees farenheit. however, they have to be drowned and not squirted on. you should probably stay away from stepping on or crushing the stink bugs because this only seems to attract more. it was once recorded that 5 stink bugs were crushed on a football field. ten seconds later a hoard of 10 reappeared. it is noted that spraying febreeze on a stinkbug should mask its sent long enough for you to crush its tiny body.
