Photo parameter[edit]

Sorry, can't seem to get the needs-photo option to work. At least it doesn't appear to be messing anything up. Maybe someone else can figure how to fix. :( --Ebyabe 17:19, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request[edit]

{{Editprotected}} Please place {{Portal|Chicago|Chicago city seal.png}} directly before the word "This" in the text "This article is within the scope...". This will yield:

Edit request 2[edit]

{{editprotected}} The string "[[Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Illinois{{!}}{{PAGENAME}}]]" is redundant with the categorizing caused by the WikiProject Illinois talk page template. In the the ChicagoWikiProject template, please replace the string [[Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Illinois{{!}}{{PAGENAME}}]] with the string [[Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Cook County, Illinois{{!}}{{PAGENAME}}]] . Thanks. GregManninLB (talk) 02:15, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

 Done while converting to {{WPBannerMeta}}. Happymelon 08:51, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request 3[edit]

{{Editprotected}} I have been told by WOSlinker (talk · contribs) that to make the banner allow the use of the redirect category, you would need to change:

|QUALITY_SCALE       = yes
 |class={{{class|}}}
 |FULL_QUALITY_SCALE = yes
to
|QUALITY_SCALE       = inline
 |class={{class mask | {{{class|}}} | FQS=yes | redirect=yes}}

Can someone make this change?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 14:57, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to confirm with MSGJ that this is still necessary, as he recently made a change [1], and your above find and replace request is no longer accurate. –xenotalk 15:05, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've added Redirect-class. Your custom mask is now on Template:ChicagoWikiProject/class. Hope this is okay. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 21:51, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please add MAIN_CAT back[edit]

{{edit protected}} |MAIN_CAT = WikiProject Chicago articles
Per discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chicago/Categories#Use of "MAIN_CAT", the project would like to add back the main cat parameter on the template. Thanks much! --Funandtrvl (talk) 03:03, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Include Chicago metropolitan area in Banner[edit]

{{edit protected}} Please change the following.

FROM: MAIN_TEXT = This template is within the scope of WikiProject Chicago, which aims to improve all articles or pages related to Chicago.

TO: MAIN_TEXT = This template is within the scope of WikiProject Chicago, which aims to improve all articles or pages related to Chicago or the Chicago metropolitan area.

This will avoid people thinking the scope of the Chicago Project is limited to only the City of Chicago. Pknkly (talk) 07:33, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template-protected edit request on 15 September 2015[edit]

Please replace "Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Cook County, Illinois" with "Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Chicago, Illinois" in order to categorize pages into a more specific request category. Thank you. —Granger (talk · contribs) 04:03, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
