Untitled[edit]

I am aware that the template isn't aesthetically pleasing at the moment; I plan on taking care of it later. --Mithunc 23:00, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Eric A. Walker[edit]

Should we add Eric Walker as a Penn State person? He was president for 14 years. I'm not sure what the criteria should be for the people section. Pepperjack 22:19, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure either . . . I just added a link to the Presidents article but I'm not sure how I feel about how it looks. If anything I think we should remove Eisenhower and leave Atherton and Spanier as the only explicitly listed presidents. --Mithunc 22:59, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think Russ Rose should be added as a penn state "person". This year's national championship in volleyball is just capping his achievements as head coach of the womens v-ball team... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pennstatephil (talkcontribs) 02:09, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree with above statement, so I added it. He will become the second highest winning coach in NCAA history soon, he has the highest wins/winning percentage in Penn State intercollegiate athletic history, he will be entering his 30th season in August, under him, Penn State Volleyball has maintained a top 10 status every year for the past TWENTY years and counting, has made all 27 NCAA tournament appearance since NCAA started sponsoring in 1981, only one of two DI schools to do so, USA Volleyball named him an all-time great coach. He is very notable and should be in there. If anyone wants to argue him being there, try for it, but I don't think anyone can argue that. :) Smuckers (talk) 21:23, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sandusky[edit]

I added Jerry Sandusky, but we really need to include the Jerry Sandusky child sexual abuse scandal somewhere, and I don't think "athletics" is the correct section. "Media" is about the college's media. New section for "miscellaneous" might do. — Preceding unsigned comment added by True Pagan Warrior (talkcontribs) 12:46, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of presidents of the Pennsylvania State University which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 08:00, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
