Hopewell, Jamaica disambiguation[edit]

My reasoning is based on the fact that this template links to (and uses the same list as) List of cities and towns in Jamaica. That article, in turn, cites World Gazetteer as its source, and the list found on the source shows "Hopewell" as being in Hanover Parish. Based on that, I concluded that the link should be disambiguated to Hopewell, Hanover. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 19:53, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds reasonable. Taking it a step further, they could all appear in the template using the form "Hopwell, Parish name" (either as cities or towns as appropriate). And each should have {{otheruses|Hopewell, Jamaica}} added. -Arb. (talk) 00:15, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, the above has now all been actioned. -Arb. (talk) 11:01, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Neighbourhoods / Communities in Kingston & St. Andrew[edit]

I've done some work improving some of the neighbourhood articles that appear in this template, but I am mightily confused.

  1. In sources that I've read, it seems that areas within Kingston are called communities, parishes, constituency, and districts. Community seems to be the term that means neighborhood. Is that correct?
  2. I have had a really hard time finding a list of neighbourhoods/communities, but here is also a list of communities on the Social Development Commission site. It has some communities mentioned in the body of the text... and then some within graphic boxes that link to pages with information about the area. Is this a good source?
  3. Is there a hierarchy involved that is noteworthy (e.g., district, parish, constituency) within the articles?

Thanks so much!!–CaroleHenson (talk) 21:46, 28 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
