Af[edit]

How come the Af climate is called "Tropical" in the template, while Köppen climate classification calls Af "Tropical rain forest climate" and plain "A" climates "tropical"? Pfly 06:15, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Monsoon[edit]

Changed Monsoon (which is a type of winds) to Monsoon climate, page TBA. Compare to Tropics and Tropical climate --Yuriy Lapitskiy 19:44, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

Continental Mediterranean climate[edit]

Who added this label, not used by Köppen and put it under class D? Class D means that the average temperature of the coldest month is below -3 °C: no real Mediterranean area has these values, unless you consider Mediterranan also the Caspian region like Rivas-Martínez but in this case it would be considered BS (semi-arid climate) rather than Ds. A map showing Ds areas in the world: as you can see, they do not match with Continental Mediterranean climate ones--Carnby (talk) 10:10, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is that means there is no Dsa,Dsb & Dsc???Simpson H (talk) 22:15, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dry Summer Continental?[edit]

Interesting concept, but does this require its own page? How would this climate differ from Humid Continental other than the fact that it has dry summers? Should we include it under Humid Continental but only note when a specific location has a humid continental climate with dry summers (much like several Asian humid subtropical cities with dry winters are noted on the humid subtropical page)? There's also the distinct possibility of some overlap with semi-arid climates and to a lesser extent Alpine climates. —Preceding unsigned comment added by G. BWn[edit]

Is this official, BWn for the desert climate classifications or just another original research? --Mahmudmasri (talk) 08:19, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
