Accuracy[edit]

I added the overlap between the F355 and the 348. There are a lot of ways this template could be made more accurate... 65.197.189.234 16:40, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ferrari FXX[edit]

This timeline is for Ferrari road cars, however, the FXX is not a road car. Should we remove it? —Mr Grim Reaper (talkcontribsemail), 22:22, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Neither is the F50 GT for that matter. If there was a time line for Ferrari competition or race cars I'd say move it, but currently I am not aware of such a time line. There probably should be, but I don't have enough knowledge on the competition Ferraris to make one. swaq 04:46, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nor do I. I guess we need an expert on the subject to create a list. —Mr Grim Reaper (talkcontribsemail), 01:28, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistency with previous template[edit]

There is a lack of consistency between this template and {{Ferrari road car timeline 1947-1968}}. Consider the models listed for 1968: this template lists 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 365GT and Dino 206 whereas {{Ferrari road car timeline 1947-1968}} lists 365 GTC, 275 GTB/4, 365 GTS and 365 GT. Why not just have non-overlapping templates, e.g. end the previous one in 1959, with this one being the 1960's to 1990's, and the next one being the "modern" (as in "3rd millennium, plus 2000 :-)) cars? Guy Harris (talk) 06:38, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ferrari California misplaced[edit]

The Ferrari California is listed as a RMR vehicle. It is actually a front-engine car. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.217.1.135 (talk) 14:36, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ferrari P4/5[edit]

While there was only one P4/5 produced, the Ferrari P4/5 is a legal road car and does not feature in this template. ManfromDelmonte (talk) 22:15, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ferrari 599 GTO[edit]

Should the 599 GTO be placed in the "Supercar" category, or should it be regarded as a variant of the 599 GTB? Ferrari claims the GTO can lap the Nurburgring faster than the Enzo so I offer this up as a reason for placing it in the Supercar category. Grs1969 (talk)

Supercar flat 12?[edit]

The Testarossa and 512TR and F512M are evolutions of the Boxer and (with the exception of the M) were manufactured in greater quantities. I don't think splitting them into flat-12 and supercar flar-12 is appropriate. Does anyone else have a strong opinion? I wish the person who did the edits had a real login.... V8 category should be renamed V6/V8[edit]

The Dino 206, Dino 246 GT and 246 GTS are listed in the V8 category, but each is a 6 cylinder, as evidenced by the third digit in their designators. The category should be renamed 'V6/V8'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BuzzFlood (talkcontribs) 13:58, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Road Car Timeline Update[edit]

Noticed that the model calender is three years behind. Is anyone working on an update or is it ok if I try. BADpolizei (talk) , 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Uh, how about the Testarossa?[edit]

Where is it on this list? There's a few others that are missing too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.11.154.97 (talk) 13:29, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, it was added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.11.154.97 (talk) 13:32, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cut the 60s[edit]

The 60s should be cut from this template, they are very well represented in the previous template and here due to restrictive categories cars are mashed up and some models even ommited. YBSOne (talk) 13:40, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What models are omitted? —Cloverleaf II (talk) 15:40, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Superamerica series for example, rest is just mushed together in groups. YBSOne (talk) 19:28, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This template layout is more suited for 70s and onwards lineup. Previous template has the 60s lineup already more detailed. YBSOne (talk) 19:36, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Cut implemented. Any issues, comments, suggestions let me know. The 60s are very well represented in the previous template Template:Ferrari road car timeline 1947-1969, there was no need to double it and way too condensed in the 70s template.YBSOne (talk) 08:32, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
