A New Year Carol[edit]

This is actually a song taken from Friday Afternoons, and in any case the compositional date is wrong (it was 1934, not 1936). I hesitate to edit the template as I'm not sure what the "house style" is for this. But I'm wondering whether it should be removed altogether, as it doesn't actually link to a Britten article but to one which mentions the setting in passing? If it's not to be removed, the date at least should be corrected (I will do this now). Alfietucker (talk) 17:49, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

When I created the template, I went by the list of BB's compositions, not checking every single article. If "A New Year Carol" is from Friday Afternoons, I would consider merging the two articles and then remove "A New Year Carol" from the template (which should list every article in which it appears). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:49, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Looking again, the carol is a general article, not on Britten's song, therefore I removed it from the template. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:01, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Good move. Alfietucker (talk) 21:05, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
