Template:US-related WikiProjects/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage[edit]

Simply create a ==Related projects== section, somewhere on your US-related WikiProject page, usually at or very near the bottom, add US-related WikiProjects to that section and save the page.

Customization[edit]

At this time, the "guts" of the template cannot be extensively customized. Do not "subst:" this template, in an attempt to customize it or you will defeat its purpose. However, you can easily add a custom new section, simply by appending:

style="width:12%;"|SECTIONNAME

This can be used to add one or more sections of other related projects, such as projects devoted to cities in the state, sports team projects relevant to the state, historically-related projects (for example: WikiProject Mexico is of direct relevance to WikiProject New Mexico, WikiProject California and WikiProject Texas, etc., as the latter were part of the former for a long time) and so forth.

A relevant task force of another WikiProject, that is not itself relevant as a whole, can be linked to in the following manner:

TASKFORCENAME
