Usage[edit]
This template should be called by passing a variable to it for the closest main dynast of the House of York. For example, {{House of York|edward4}}. This calls only the relevant part of the template, as well as getting around the fair use violation that would occur if the arms images were directly on this template.
Variables[edit]
First variable (optional) : name of the dynast[edit]
- langley — for Edmund Langley and his descendants
- norwich — for Edward Norwich
- conisburgh — for Richard Conisburgh and his descendants
- plantagenet — for Richard Plantagenet and his descendants
- edward4 — for Edward IV and his descendants
- edward5 — for Edward V
- clarence — for George Clarence and his descendants
- richard3 — for Richard III and his descendants
Second variable (optional) : image of coat of arm of the article's subject[edit]
Don't put Image: or File:
If not set, coats of arm of the dynasty is used.
