If {{WikiProject Biography}} is nested within {{WikiProject banner shell}}, please use {{WikiProject banner shell|activepol=yes}} to display this template outside of the banner shell.
In extremely rare cases where {{WikiProject Biography}} and {{WikiProject banner shell}} are not used and might not be relevant, {{Active politician}} may be placed on a talk page directly.
