Background of this content[edit]

This HP Networking Training section was copied over from the ProCurve Training section. In2010, HP retired the ProCurve division and created HP Networking. So previous references to ProCurve no longer are appropriate. These changes are intended to align content with today's reality. I have not edited this training section, assuming that what was created before as ProCurve remains accurate and conforming to Wiki guidelines today. This would probably have been a good candidate for a move. I'm going to propose a merger below since the other article could easily be merged into this one with a couple simple lines about the history of the service. ScottSteiner 04:07, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that ProCurve Training be merged into HP Networking Training. I think that the content in the ProCurve Training article can easily be explained in the context of HP Networking Training, and the HP Networking Training article is of a reasonable size in which the merging of ProCurve Training will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. Would this mean that whether one is looking for ProCurve Training or HP Networking Training that they will land in the same place? That makes a lot of sense. Not sure how to do this but sounds like you know. Would you do this? Dkhydema (talk) 15:46, 18 April 2011 (UTC)dkhydema[reply]
