Sydney Elizabeth Martinez (born September 12, 1999) is a footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Norwegian club IK Grand Bodø. Born in the mainland United States, she plays for the Puerto Rico women's national team.

Martinez grew up in Rincon, Georgia, United States.[1]
Education[edit]
Martinez attended Effingham County High School in the United States, where she was regarded as one of the soccer team's most important players.[2] After that, she attended the University of South Florida in the United States, where she was regarded as one of the soccer team's most important players.[3]
Club career[edit]
Martinez played for American side Tormenta FC, where she captained the club.[4] She helped them win the league.[5]
International career[edit]
Martinez played for the Olympic Development Program.[6][7]
Style of play[edit]
Martinez has been described as "difficult to shoot over, has good lateral movement, aggressively fights for balls in the box and often flips the field with booming punts".[8]
