Gerard Collins (12 March 1955 – 20 May 2024) was a Scottish professional football player and coach. A defender, he played for Stranraer, Albion Rovers, Ayr United, Hamilton Academical, and Partick Thistle.

Collins played for Stranraer, Albion Rovers, Ayr United, Hamilton Academical and Partick Thistle.[2]

Coaching career[edit]

Collins retired from playing to become assistant manager of Partick Thistle.[2]

Death[edit]

On 20 May 2024, it was announced Collins had died following a long illness, at the age of 69.[3][4]
