Copyright status[edit]
As I understand it, this image is not under copyright in its native Spain, but is in the U.S. as a "restored copyright". It is anonymous work over 70 years old, and therefore is not copyrighted in Spain, but there were less than 70 years between its creation and the Uruguay Round Agreements Act of 1994. That is, it was still in copyright in Spain in 1994, and it postdates 1923, so it is still under U.S. copyright as of 2011, and I imagine it will be until 2026, when it is 90 years old. - Jmabel | Talk 01:27, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
