is geo stationary orbit callad geo synchronous orbit

No. A Geostationary orbit is a kind of Geosynchronous orbit. 74.132.249.206 (talk) 05:55, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed that the red dotted line for the ISS orbit isn't really visible in the smaller resolution photo. I have no idea about licensing matters, but if it wouldn't go against the author's terms maybe it should be edited so that it is effective in it's smaller resolution. 67.188.58.243 (talk) 18:06, 5 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Green dash-dot line is not rendering as dash-dot in PNG preview[edit]

Either render the green dash-dot line in the PNG previews correctly, or update all users of the image to not refer to it as a dash-dot line. 87.254.82.68 (talk) 13:38, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. A couple things: first, this file isn't protected, so you can make the change yourself. Second, if you click on the image and view it at full size, it is a dash/dot line. Third, if you don't know how to make the change, you can ask at the Graphics lab illustration workshop. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 14:31, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I note that I very specifically noted that this was an issue with the preview. I do not have access to the preview generation. As a non-semiconfirmed user I do not have access to this file. If there are any other reasons that aren't relevant to the matter at hand, please could you deal with them in your own head before bothering to comment in a sarky tone. 87.254.82.68 (talk) 16:08, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. There's nothing that can be done from here; this file is hosted on Commons, not EnWP, and it's not the kind of fix that's well-handled by an edit request since it require specific technical expertise. I'd suggest asking at the link I gave above, or maybe at WP:SVG help. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 17:12, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
