This is a magnificent piece of art, however, the date range is (to me) very suspect. This work is indicative of a high culture, and I don't think Japan had anything quite so developed in Sumerian-Indus Valley civilization times. How positive is the sourcing of the date for this work? At the very least, I propose the latest possible estimate to be used in the caption. As an aside, isn't it nice that such a work as this was left undamaged by the war?
