Lower Peninsula Regions[edit]

Lower Peninsula regions are wrong IMO. Mid-Michigan is considered Ingham, Jackson, and Hillsdale counties, possibly some others as well, but those are the main ones. This map has Jackson and Hillsdale as part of "Southeast Michigan" which is certainly not the case. Almost everything in Jackson and Hillsdale counties comes from Lansing (radio and television stations, phone number area code, etc.). These counties should be in the same region as Ingham.

For example, Area_code_517 - that is "Mid-Michigan". Anything above Ingham county is "up north". I'm going to redesign the map a little to reflect this. ZeekLTK (talk) 18:27, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Update: I tried to edit the file but when I went to upload my version, it said it would erase all previous versions since it's not being uploaded by the same user. Can the guy who made this edit the file instead? Change Hillsdale, Jackson, and Lenawee to the same red as Lansing (Ingham), and change just about everything north of Ingham to be the light green color, all except the stuff around the "tri-cities", keep that as dark red I guess (Genessee, Saginaw, and Lapeer are their own little "region").
