Nomination[edit]

I feel that this illustration should be nominated to be a featured image. It clearly and concisely describes the concept in an easily accessible manner. Any support? --OscarBor (talk) 10:31, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It wouldn't pass I'm afraid - a diagram like this really should be in SVG format, and even if kept as a PNG it wouldn't satisfy criterion 2 (at 838 × 382 pixels resolution). The proton-number scale has to be fixed first. It is off by ten! (I.e. read 80 where it says 70.) - Episcophagus (talk) 14:03, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies – this image was originally uploaded under my old Wikipedia account, and I did not see the requests for vectorisation and the required amendment on the proton number scale. I will gladly edit this and upload an amended version in svg format.
